Western North Carolina is home to some of the best motorcycle touring in the world. WNC is the destination for the East Coast - it is easily reachable by a day ride from the deep South, the mid-west, and the northeast.
Whether you like curvy ribbons of asphalt, single track off-road trails under the forest canopy, or a leisurely ride down the best parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Western North Carolina can not be beat.

On a very serious note, motorcyclists that visit WNC need to get acclimated to riding the twisty roads in the area. Slow down on your first couple of days and don't ride over your comfort level. A trip to the hospital is not a nice vacation!
